As an activist in student movement, I have been skeptical of the ruling party's decisions. But, today I'm very happy to know about the ruling party's decision to nominate Ramnath Kovind as ruling coalition's candidate for Presidential Elections. While the main-stream media and the people who are only dependent on media as a source of information are taken by surprise and some even tweeted that they never knew a person by this name who is infact current Governor of Bihar! The most important aspect of this decision is understood when we look at the life of Shri. Ramnath. Most politicians belonging to marginalized or minority community mostly use their identity as their only achievement to climb the steps in politics.
